“If it’s aching, it must be working…”

…says Pierra. We were both in yoga class yesterday evening and let me tell ya, it was tough! My arms and thighs are aching. It hurts to walk, to sit…Just lifting my arms is making me whimper in pain. Yesterday was my first Mysore class and I sucked at it! My other “classmates” were all bending and stretching like they knew what they were doing, while I was stuck struggling to retain my balance in a simple lunge! This must be what the slowest kid in class feels like. It didn’t help that the guy next to me—I recognized him, actually. The owner of Figaro on Emerald Ave. but forgot his name—was doing his asanas so effortlessly. By the end of the day, I was as limp as a dishrag—and looked it too! I’m going back for more next week. Am I crazy or what? 🙂

My name is Terrie. I write for a living and blog for pleasure. Some days, I get up in the morning and know precisely what kind of day it is. At other times, I get knocked over for a loop. People seem to like confiding in me. When I was younger, I thought I knew everything and can tell you what you need to do if you ask me. Now that I'm older, I realize I don't know anything. That's been my motivation for the blog and for writing. To figure out the unknown and unknowable.
