    1. Hahaha! Yes! Because these pics were during that walking tour, haha! And I thought I had more actually — of the food and some pics of Gie as well! Either I only imagined I took those pics or they were somehow deleted when I transferred the photos to my laptop. That’s what I get for writing this blog post so late. Ugh!

  1. Gusto kong bumalik at makita rin ang mga yan…I remember you took me to Pagoda st and I think we passed by Amoy st, but I’d love to see the other places here. 🙂

    1. I guess we underestimated the amount of time needed to tour everything. All the amusement parks/kid stuff needed at least most of the day eh. Next time. 😉

  2. Thanks for the great tour of Singapore! I’ll have to bookmark this! On my next trip to HK, I plan to take an excursion to Singapore and Malaysia.

    1. Hi, Pat. Singapore may be small, but it does have lots of interesting nooks and crannies. My “tour” was only a few streets of Chinatown and Kampong Glam but both districts have networks of streets and alleys worth checking out. Have fun on your excursion and thanks for stopping by!

Oh, and do write back and tell me how it went. Would love to know your impressions. Have a good day! 🙂

    2. Hi, Pat. 🙂 My “tour” was only a few streets of both places. There are lots more to be seen. I just couldn’t write about everything… Or maybe I could in future posts, haha! Have fun on your excursion and do write back and tell me how it went. Would love to know your impressions. Thanks for stopping by! 🙂

      1. Please do write more about Singapore and other travel rendezvous 🙂 I might be getting way ahead of myself with the HK/Singapore/Malaysia trip as 2014 and beyond will be more the realistic plans. I do need to get away from this NJ/NYC funk for a bit anyway. I stop by quite often on your blog to peep in on what’s new in the copyright world and other international going-ons! Your blog and Slouching Somewhere are some of my favorite blogs to catch-up on with stuff happening on the other side of the world!

      2. Wow, thanks so much! Yes, I love Slouching Somewhere as well. 😉 I do plan to write about Singapore more often. Any requests on what you’d like to read about?

And I do hope you do get to come over this part of the world. If you ever get to SG, would love to meet up and show you around. 🙂

  3. Thanks for the hospitality! I do hope to make it out to SG in the near future. If you ever make it out to NYC, please do the same!

No particular requests, but I do like to read about food, art, music, movies, & cultural events! But seriously, your writeups are just fine! I like your spontaneity!

  4. I love, love those two areas in SG…loved the fact that I got to explore them with you even more.

Hey, I see Pat (aka Planet Chocko) dropped here as well. Thanks for the shoutout, Pat 🙂 Your blog helps feed my wanderlust for NYC.

    1. Next time, I’ll take you to the busier part. Discovered a resto that serves really fabulous Szechuan cuisine. It’s just two notches above being a hole in the wall but great food! And then there’s a dessert place near there that serves to-die-for ices. The chendol is a must-have! When are you coming back for a visit?? Let’s gooo! Haha!

  5. @Slouching Somewhere & @pinxwitch – thanks ladies! I would love to see you report back from New York on your blogs. It’s always fun to hear what the agendas are with people visiting NYC. Seems like endless events going on here that no two agendas are the same.
