While everyone is taking a collective breath before doing whatever it is they’ll be doing for Singapore’s birthday today, I’m just enjoying that this day affords me to stay in bed longer and indulge in some avocado toast and avocado with cream and honey — and Ender’s Game.

My version of avocado toast
1 small ripe avocado
bread (number of slices will depend on your appetite)
1 clove garlic
salt
pepper
chili flakes (optional)
extra virgin olive oil
1. Toast the bread. If you don’t have a toaster, heat up a frying pan and toast it there.
2. Rub a peeled garlic clove on your toast.
3. Spread avocado on toast.
4. Sprinkle salt, pepper and chilli flakes
5. Spray/brush olive oil on top.
6. Eat!
If you have more avocados, scoop some into a bowl, add cream and sugar or honey aaand your day is complete.

Love almost everything with avocado! What a yummy post! Mabi does almost the same thing–hot sauce and sea salt naman to top her avocado on toast.

Yeah, it’s yummy! I would have it for breakfast every morning if I could, hehe… Maybe I’ll try hot sauce next time just to compare. What I like about my version is the garlic. Try it, Mabes!
